Fayette County is located in Southwestern Pennsylvania and part of the Laurel Highlands.
There are 10 public libraries in Fayette County: 4 State Aided Libraries and 6 non-state aided (Affiliate) libraries. Fayette along with Washington & Greene Counties comprise the Washington District (a designation by Commonwealth Libraries, PA Dept of Education).
